SAFIR S60 for high-quality shirting fabrics

The SAFIR S60 automatic drawing-in system is the right choice for the production of fabrics made using one warp sheet with one or two yarn layers. Typical applications are blouse or shirting fabrics with sophisticated color patterns, women's and men's outerwear made of the finest worsted wool, and home textiles such as upholstery fabrics or table linens. Even technical textiles such as protective clothing and screen-printing fabrics are among the end products whose quality is enhanced by the drawing-in quality of this system.

Consisting of a stationary drawing-in machine and one, or, as a rule, two mobile drawing-in trucks, the system draws the yarn into the reed, drop wires, and healds with up to 20 weaving frames – fully automatically and exactly according to the repeat. The machine control takes over the transport of the mobile drawing-in trucks during the drawing-in process. The final product is the warp with yarn sheet completely drawn into the healds, drop wires, and reed.

This system design provides very high drawing-in performance and, most importantly, error-free drawing in.
