Stäubli Personal Data Protection Policy

The Stäubli Personal Data Protection Policy is intended to provide information about how Stäubli processes personal data - i.e. any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual - that is collected in the framework of its business and activities towards its customers, prospects, suppliers, employees and applicants.

Stäubli is committed to apply uniform, adequate and global personal data protection standards for the handling of data subjects personal data throughout Stäubli in line with European regulations.

Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

The Data Controller responsible for processing your personal data will depend on your location and business relationship with Stäubli.

The controller is identified in contractual documents or communication (such as information notices, email) you received from Stäubli. However, should you have any doubt on the Controller’s identity processing your personal data you may send a written request by email to the GDPM (data.privacy@staubli.com) in order to be provided with identity and contact details of the Controller who is responsible of the processing activities that regard your personal data.

Stäubli collects personal data directly from you or from your company in the frame of its business relationships and activities.

Stäubli also collects personal data indirectly from user’s navigation on websites and use of applications.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Recipients of Personal Data are, depending on the purposes, the duly authorised staff of the Stäubli group, its service providers, partners and subcontractors who are required to strictly respect the purposes of the processing activities.

The data may also be transmitted to the competent authorities, at their request, or to comply with other legal obligations to which Stäubli may be subject.

Some companies within the Stäubli Group are located outside the European Union, in countries that do not have personal data protection legislation equivalent to that applying in the European Union. The Stäubli Group has implemented the necessary safeguards to supervise such transfers to a third country. Information on the safeguards implemented for this purpose is available upon request by contacting the GDPM (data.privacy@staubli.com).

Data Storage Period

Your personal data will be held by Stäubli for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes identified and as required by applicable law.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, object to, restrict, or erase in certain circumstances, personal data Stäubli is processing about you. You also have the option of requesting Stäubli to stop sending newsletters to you. The latter can be done by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter sent to you. You also have the option to withdraw your consent or to withdraw your consent to the processing to which you have previously agreed. You have the right not to be the subject of an individual decision that is based solely on automated processing, such as profiling. You can request the portability of data concerning you.

You may exercise these rights at any time by sending a letter setting out your request to the GDPM (data.privacy@staubli.com) whose contact details are provided above.
In order for us to process your request, you must accompany this letter or email with the elements required to identify you.

You have the right to lodge a complaint to the competent supervisory authority responsible for the protection of personal data.

Stäubli is committed to protecting your personal data and maintaining its quality, integrity, and confidentiality. Stäubli therefore allows access to your personal data solely to employees who need to consult it as part of their mission. These employees are subject to confidentiality agreements concerning processed personal data, and are aware of the risks and obligations related to processing personal data. Stäubli has also implemented physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards that comply with the legal requirements in place to protect your personal data.

Poland Privacy Policy

In connection with the applicability of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27.04.2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC ("RODO"), we would like to inform you about the purposes and methods of processing your data, the recipients of your personal data and your rights.

This letter contains information about the processing of personal data by "Stäubli-Łódź" sp. z o. o. for:

  • Individual Entrepreneur / Partner of a partnership,
  • A person authorized to represent the Entrepreneur,
  • A contact person indicated by the Entrepreneur.

Please be informed that the Administrator of your personal data is:

Scope of processed data

We process the following of your data: company name, first and last name, position / function, company address(es), company e-mail address, company telephone number, circumstances of data acquisition. In the case of the conclusion of a sales contract also: Company TIN, company bank account number, invoice receivables data.

Source of obtaining personal data

Your personal data has been obtained by the Data Controller directly from you or from the Entrepreneur whose interests you represent, in connection with the establishment of commercial cooperation with "Stäubli-Łódź" sp. z o.o.

Purpose of personal data processing

It concerns an individual entrepreneur / partner in a partnership:
Your data are processed for the purpose of executing a contract or in connection with business discussions aimed at concluding a contract - on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the RODO, and also after the completion of the contract in order for the Data Controller to fulfill its obligation to storage of accounting documents - pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the RODO in conjunction with Article 74(2)(4) of the Accounting Act.

Applies to the authorized representative / contact person:
Your personal data is processed for the purpose of the Administrator's legitimate interest, which is the need for the Administrator to duly perform the contract concluded between the Administrator and the Entrepreneur referred to above, or in connection with business discussions aimed at concluding a contract - on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) RODO, and also after the completion of the contract in order for the Administrator to perform its obligation to store accounting documents - on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) RODO in connection with Article 74(2)(4) of the Accounting Act.

Period of storage of personal data

We will store your data:

  • for the purpose of conducting business talks aimed at concluding a contract - until the conclusion of such talks;
  • for the purpose of contract execution and cooperation - until the end of the contract, and for the purpose of fulfilling the obligation to keep accounting documents - for a period of 5 years from the beginning of the year following the fiscal year in which operations, transactions and proceedings were finally completed, paid off, settled or barred.

Additional purposes and periods of personal data processing

Your personal data will also be processed for the legitimate interests of the Administrator (i.e., pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) RODO):

  • in the direct marketing of the Administrator's own goods or services - until you object to the processing of your data for this purpose,
  • for the purpose of asserting or defending claims for the performance of a contract - until such claims are time-barred.

Recipients of personal data

For the purpose and to the extent necessary for the performance of the contract, the recipients of your personal data will be companies cooperating with the Data Controller in the field of IT services, law firms providing legal services to the Data Controller, entities providing accounting, auditing, marketing, courier or transportation services to the Data Controller, as well as business intelligence agencies cooperating with the Data Controller and, in justified cases, the Economic Information Bureau - in relation to the Individual Entrepreneur/Partnership Partner.

Your personal data will also be transferred to other entities of the Stäubli Group (e.g., to a manufacturing plant) for the purpose of commercial cooperation, pursuant to agreements concluded with these entities.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to the content of your data and the right to rectification, erasure, the right to obtain a copy of your data, data portability and the right to request restriction of data processing.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the provisions of the RODO.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for additional processing purposes indicated above. You may submit your objection in writing, including electronically, in particular to the email address or contact address indicated in this letter.

In addition, with respect to the authorized representative / contact person:
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for the proper performance of the contract between the Administrator and the Entrepreneur referred to above. You may submit your objection in writing, including electronically, in particular to the email address or contact address indicated in this letter.

Profiling of personal data

The Administrator profiles your personal data in terms of the company's business profile and place of business/work. The effect of this profiling is to tailor product and marketing offers (direct marketing) and consulting support Administrator of the data to your needs.

Requirement to provide personal data (applies to Individual Entrepreneur / Partner of a partnership)

The provision of personal data by you was voluntary, however, failure to do so would prevent the Administrator from:

  • conducting business talks aimed at concluding a contract,
  • concluding and executing a contract with you,
  • contacting you for the purpose of direct marketing and profiling your data for the purpose of tailoring product, marketing and consulting offers to your needs.
