Coming to Munich, Germany on June 27-30, 2023
At Booth 329 in Hall B5 you could experience how synergetic technologies from Robotics as well as Electrical and Fluid Connectors Divisions can help you master digital transformation and open up rewarding new business areas.
Robots play a significant role in securing the changing demands of manufacturing worldwide. The top 5 robot trends in 2023 according to IFR are energy efficiency, reshoring, operator work, AI use and a second life for robots.
Reshoring has become a major issue in several key industries. Automotive manufacturers are investing in short supply chains to bring processes closer to their customers. These manufacturers are using robotic automation to cost-effectively produce batteries in large volumes. The shift of microchip production back to Europe and the USA is another reshoring trend.

As a Manufacturer for tailor-made solution and system integrator, IMSTec develops fully automated production lines for the medical, pharmaceutical, precision engineering and semiconductor industries. IMSTec focuses on customer-specific requirements and has access to a network of cooperation partners for its customized automation solutions. At its booth, the system integrator will be exhibiting the iMS system from ITG. The demonstration cell shows the intelligent measuring system for robotic processes integrated together with a Stäubli TX2-40. iMS enables fully automatic monitoring and independent calibration of the entire robotic cell. In addition to automated measurement, iMS checks and corrects the robot kinematics, the robot gripper and the periphery of the robot cell. Robot replacement can be implemented without teaching, and even after a collision or maintenance, the robot process can be restored automatically. As part of its network of excellence, IMSTec cooperates with ITG and already uses the iMS measurement system in a number of production lines.
