19-26 OCTOBER 2022

Visit us at K-show!

Connecting the plastics industry with the future

The plastics manufacturing sector has always been highly competitive, however the events of the last couple of years have added to, and in some cases accelerated, the number of challenges faced by the sector.

Supply chain issues, increasing energy costs, labour and sourcing shortages, changing market dynamics, combined with increasing environmental pressures and demands for greater sustainability, mean that many plastics manufacturers, large and small, have had to review and rethink their business strategy.

Plastics manufacturers are therefore now increasingly seeking solutions which will allow them to not only mitigate the pressures they face, but which will also enhance their flexibility and productivity whilst reducing costs, in turn protecting their profitability. The diversity and volumes of the products manufactured from plastic means that the solutions to the issues faced by the sector are likely to be somewhat different depending upon the size of the company and the market sectors they supply.

The trade fair is now orienting towards market needs such as digitalization, climate protection or circular economy. In these instances, Stäubli will showcase its latest innovative products designed for a wide range of requirements. Our experts will on hand to provide all the information you may need and share their best practices.

Have you ever seen a fully automated change is less than one minute?

Take the opportunity to be present at our live demo. It will take place on the booth every hour, on the hour.

Delivering small production quantities in a safer and faster time

Stäubli offers a range of solutions which make a major contribution to the SMED (Single Minute Exchange Of Die) process. These encompass everything from quick release energy connections, mold clamping technology, mold loading systems, and mold maintenance systems, right through to fully automated mold exchange systems.

Defining and implementing a successful SMED program makes it possible to achieve more efficient and frequent mold tool or product changeovers, minimizing the time between the last good part of one product and the first good part of the next.
