EMO - World’s leading event for production technology

Complete solutions for machine automation

Under the motto “We make work easy and safe,” Stäubli Robotics will present comprehensive solutions for machine tool automation and the entire metalworking value chain at its EMO booth D12, hall 6. Visitors can also discover how artificial intelligence, mobile robots, digital solutions, and software tools are opening up new dimensions of productivity.

The metal industry is one of the most versatile sectors, making it ideal for robot-based automation. Metal processing applications demand precision down to the smallest detail and peak performance even under extreme conditions.

The four-axis and six-axis kinematics of our TS2 and TX2 robots have earned a reputation over the years as marathon athletes in machine tool automation, as well as processing tasks such as workpiece deburring and machine tending operations. They are also ideally suited for metal processing tasks, including laser welding, plasma cutting, polishing, and grinding, where accuracy and precise trajectories are crucial.

Our product portfolio now includes standardized mobile robot solutions for material handling tasks such as loading and unloading pallets and transporting materials to various processing stations, which in turn allows the interlinking of machine tools, all from a single source.

Easy programming with and without AI – the right solution for every user

The combination of Stäubli Robotics and AI will likely be particularly beneficial in machine automation. It eliminates the need for constant programming and teaching of new variants, since the AI robots can independently recognize, grasp and stack a wide variety of workpieces. For users who are hesitant to get involved with AI, the VAL Blocks graphical user interface makes it easy to set up Stäubli robots with no prior programming knowledge.

Even users who prefer to program in their own PLC environment will find the right solution with Stäubli, as we were one of the first robot manufacturers to work with SRCI (Standard Robot Command Interface) and offer the most comprehensive implementation of SRCI functions.

We look forward to meeting you at EMO.
