Stäubli "open system" Jacquard machine UNIVAL 100 offers the customers virtually unlimited flexibility to weave the most sophisticated technical fabrics in 3D weaving, especially with glass fibers or carbon fibers.

Field of application	All weaving machines and weft insertion systems
Fabric suitability	All flat fabrics, terry cloth, technical fabrics and carbon fiber fabrics
Available formats	512 to 15,360 threads with all intermediate formats *
Drive system	The Jacquard machine has its own drive with no mechanical link to the weaving machine, and is electronically synchronized
Harness movement	Individual warp thread control with Stäubli JACTUATOR
Electronic control	Independent Stäubli JC7U control unit, synchronized with the weaving machine

* Formats up to 30,720 threads can be achieved by combining two machines

End-to-end control

The individual movements of the single warp threads are controlled by the actuators (JACTUATOR) developed by Stäubli. Each actuator works individually and communicates directly with the JC7U controller.
