Applications

Every race is highly demanding. Whether on road or track, motorsports requires couplings that are extremely reliable and efficient while ensuring no loss of liquid. Stäubli compact hydraulic quick couplings are designed to withstand harsh environments : where high pressure, vibration and shocks are the norm. They deliver high flow rates paired with non-spill technology from start to finish.

Fuel connections on a competition vehicle must be reliable, safe and compliant with mandatory break-away applications specified in certain regulations. Typical applications include fuel sampling and pit-stop refueling.

In a race, every second counts. It's crucial to minimize pit-stop times when changing breaks and wheels. Quick couplings ensure all operations take less than a minute. The easy-to-connect, Air-jack system offers fast operation when lifting and lowering cars.

Whether on two or four wheels, racing requires a high level of temperature control. Engine systems including electric and hybrid technologies must be cooled with oil and water.
