ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As Commercial Operations Manager in charge of the Inside Sales team, you are part of the local management team and report directly to the Robotics Division Manager.
  • You ensure smooth, reliable, and efficient application of the global Lead to Cash process, including management of customer orders by the Inside Sales team. You maintain regular communication with the Production Units (France and Germany), the Sales team and customers concerning delivery schedules and tracking problems (delays, payment…). You supervise the dunning process.
  • You build KPIs and reports to analyze the results of your team’s job and ensure continuous improvement. You implement corrective actions when needed and contribute to your team’s performance.

  • You manage the demonstration and consignment robot asset in our dedicated tool RENT, and the associated consignment contracts with customers.
  • You maintain and monitor data quality in local ERP and CRM applications (customer master data, product catalogue descriptions, price lists…).
  • You take part in internal and external audits as Manager of the local Lead to Cash process.
  • As a local referent for ERP and CRM applications, you maintain communication with the Sales team to relay information from the Customer Journey Excellence Central team and to identify and report local issues or new requirements. You clarify information and you ensure that Divisional tools and processes are applied locally. You contribute to the training and skills development of the local Sales and Inside Sales teams.

  • Develop and/or optimize production processes, process parameters, and tooling for product and product transfers to meet material and customer requirements.

  • Teach and disseminate product and production process knowledge to the team.
  • Effectively communicate technical problems to suppliers, quality, and/or engineering working with the team to find and eliminate the root causes.
  • Be actively involved in the implementation of quality programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

 

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must:

  • Must be self-driven to find the correct and appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills required to understand best manufacturing practices and recommend proper improvement opportunities.
  • Experience with bench top tool development including simple PLC building and programming with the mechanical designs.

 Project and Programs Management

Education:

Experience:
  • Must possess prior experience with the application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) within a production environment.
  • Prior experience within a CNC production environment is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with engineering change management and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • An applied understanding of ISO 9001 or an equivalent system.
  • Applied experience with basic quality tools such as RCCA methodologies, value-stream maps, flowcharts, PFMEA, and PDCA.

Summary

The Project Manager Renewable Energy (RE) will be primarily focused on the project planning, execution, and reporting of both development and product upgrade projects for the Renewable Energy business segment.  The Project Manager RE will be the principal authority for project timeline, milestone definition, progress tracking and customer notifications via Field Sales Engineers (FSE), Product Management, and Business Development Managers (BDM).  The project Manager will work across multiple departments to plan Projects, develop scope/budget/timelines, and track/execute the project plan through regular meetings and reporting cycles.  The Project Manager RE’s performance will be judged by how well they keep their projects on scope, on time, and on budget, as well as how they handle getting projects back on track when things go wrong or unforeseen issues arise.

The Product Manager RE will have the challenge of interfacing with RE-dedicated resources, such as Engineering and Sales, as well as matrix-allocated resources such as Quality and Operations.  The Product Manager RE will report directly to the Head of Project Management for North America.

Under general direction of the Local, Regional, and Global Heads of Services, this position is responsible to Grow Staubli Renewable Energy Services’ market presence in their dedicated geographic area.   • Schedule and perform PV DC health assessments / inspections / audits on operational systems (this include performing construction QA/QC and third-party commissioning oversight/verification). It can also include Emergency response (dispatch to site on short notice) and investigations on customer’s site premises. The health assessments are focused on the DC distribution part of a PV system (DC connectors and DC wiring)
  • Document results providing a technical report and concise descriptions of any quality issues, including those which have noted deficiencies requiring corrective action.

  • Manage schedules upon multiple platforms with numerous stakeholders

  • AA degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience in industry or military training desired.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an Engineering lab or electro-mechanical background.
  • Electrical connector or mechanical design experience preferred
  • PLC/LabVIEW, Automation Experience
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620C Certified

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The job of the Sales Engineer is to gain market share at a profitable level within the assigned sales territory for the products manufactured and sold by the relevant division.


MOBILITY: 75% of time


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Market development

  • Aggressively promote the sale of company products in accordance with company policy.
  • Develop full knowledge of the assigned company products and their function and application.
  • Analyze business opportunities by customer, industry, product line and geographic area.

 

Customer relationship management

  • Develop good communication and relationships with customers and potential customers, especially those individuals in decision making roles.
  • Make all scheduled sales calls for new business opportunities in accordance with the plan.
  • Keep a log of customers updated with names, job titles / functions, and addresses.

 

Administrative

  • Submit detailed sales call reports timely in accordance with company policy.
  • Submit expense reports timely in accordance with company policy and monitor and control expenses in a responsible manner.

 

Personal conduct

  • Conduct business in all cases in a professional manner with the company’s best interest and welfare in mind.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or equivalent experience: Engineer, mechatronic a plus
  • Years of experience: 3-5
  • Broad knowledge and experience in: fluid handling, automation, automotive sales experience
  • Specialized training in: solution sales, project sales management
  • Active affiliations:
  • Other requirements (certifications and so forth):

 

SKILLS:

  • Above average skills in: technical sales in products and markets
  • Excellent skills in: prospecting, cold calling
  • Demonstrated ability to: promote premium brands
  • General knowledge of: English, conversational and technical
