Solutions to prevent accidents
Under certain operating conditions, equipment can be subject to excessive tensile loads, particularly in the event of a malfunction or incorrect handling. This includes times when hoses used at sea are subject to extreme lateral forces, or during truck or rail tanker loading and unloading operations.
Stäubli's safety break-away couplings enable the mobile unit to disconnect from the loading system above a defined tensile load, without breaking or spilling any fluid.
