Safety breakaway couplings for marine applications

Typically installed between two hoses, Stäubli’s breakaway couplings are characterized by its high resistance to lateral forces, making them ideally suited for marine and offshore applications. The system automatically activates and shuts off the flow in case of undue tensile load and reduce the risk of spillage to protect the environment.
The purely axial force-controlled triggering by means of breaking pins provide an optimal safety for operators and installations in the unpredictable marine environment.
