The path for the production of the future

On June 21^st to 24^th, 2022, automatica, the leading exhibition for smart automation and robotics, will bring together all key technologies in Munich, Germany - so the vision of advancement from automated to autonomous production may gradually become reality.

Under the motto “SMART. FLEXIBLE. SUSTAINABLE. The path for the production of the future.” Stäubli will once again prove that it has invested heavily in the development of pioneering solutions. At Stand 329 in Hall B5, the three divisions – Stäubli Robotics with Stäubli WFT as well as Stäubli Electrical Connectors and Fluid Connectors – will showcase the future of digitally networked production.

A smart production line incorporating the use of fixed and mobile robots, HRC workstations and driverless transport systems will show just how flexible and cost-effective the assembly of e-bikes can be in a modern Industry 4.0 setup. The superior solutions from Stäubli Connectors provide fully automatic connections, including the automated docking of AGVs by means of a new guidance system.

Stäubli Robotics recently unveiled three new six-axis-robots for the medium payload range. The TX2-140, TX2-160 and TX2-160L extend the current TX2 generation. At this year’s automatica, the TX2-160L HDP, a special robot for fiber laser cutting, will make its debut.

As a further highlight, Stäubli Robotics will present its Easy-to-Use concept, an all-round package for the use of our robots in all project phases.

Discover Stäubli WFT AGV solutions for all industries. Our AGV portfolio includes three product series: platform series, forklift series and Mobile Robot Systems. While the Platform AGVs transport goods from 5 to 500 tons, the Forklift AGVs transport single pallets fully automatically. The Mobile Robot System series combines the advantages of Stäubli six-axis robots and AGVs.

Electrical connectors for reliable, safe and durable solutions

Connector systems from Stäubli Electrical Connectors guarantee flexibility, reliability and efficiency in testing lines, factory automation and machinery. At automatica Stäubli will present the modular CombiTac system and high-performance connector DuraDock power connector - solutions with high mating cycles for automatic test benches, e-mobility and automation technology. In addition to standard products, we develop customized solutions from concept to cable assembly.

Robotic tool changer series for payloads up to 55 kg

Fluid Connectors will present four new compact robotic tool changing systems covering the entire payload range up to 55 kg. These automatic tool changers are particularly striking for their highly precise repeatability and the variety of transfer technologies that can be used. Another highlight is the Safety+ system for personal and plant safety, specially developed for these series, as well as the new REK modules for signal and servo transmission.

Die casting for the body shop 

Accelerated processes, reduced cycle times, optimized production facilities with maximum flexibility, reduced servicing times and maintenance operations represent the common denominators of all Stäubli solutions for die casting in car body production.

Visitors to our stand can also expect to see a complete range of Industry 4.0-compatible robotics solutions that is unmatched by our competitors.
