Robotic tool changer MPS 631/631S

Ideal for heavy-duty applications, the MPS 631 robotic tool changer offers a maximum payload capacity of up to 630 kg and a bending moment of 3,200 Nm. For even more demanding applications, the MPS 631S steel ring version is available, enabling a bending moment of 5,000 Nm. Designed for challenging industrial environments, the MPS 631 ensures optimal performance for precise and secure tool changes.

The compact, round design and wide range of modules enable efficient transfer of media, signals, data and energy. The MPS 631 meets the highest safety requirements in accordance with Performance Level d, Category 3, ensuring maximum protection for people and equipment. Typical areas of application include handling and gripper applications as well as welding processes.

Thanks to its compact height of just 100 mm and mounting circles of either PCD 160 mm or PCD 160 + 200 mm, the MPS 631 can typically be installed directly onto ISO robot flanges within this payload class, eliminating the need for additional adapters. Furthermore, a variety of adapter flanges are available to accommodate deviating interface requirements. Featuring a repeatability of ±0.01 mm and an operating pressure range from 0.45 to 1.2 MPa, the MPS 631 offers an ideal solution for precise and safe tool handling.

A wide range of accessories is also available, including mounting kits, an emergency release, a teaching aid, robot adapter flanges, and tool stand systems.
