PV module assembly

For the complete PV module assembly line, Stäubli's advanced four-axis and six-axis robots meet the challenges of the growing industry. The module assembly begins usually by cutting pre-treated cells into pieces followed by the stringer application. The Stäubli TS2 SCARA robots allow the highest throughput of such process on the market thanks to their unparallel speed and precision. When it comes to the following processes such as string layup, frame assembly and module handling for treatment and packaging, our large payload 6 axis robots, TX2-160 and TX200, provide the best precise positioning and long-term reliability.

Module test, sorting and packaging

The heavy payload TX200 ensures the large working envelope and smooth handling of the final solar modules for test, sorting and packaging.

Robotics user’s requirements

Precision

It allows a lowest breakage rate and far less downtime of the equipment.

Efficiency

Because a high throughput is the key in applications like stringer.

Long-term reliability

The robot should always have the best performance after years of usage.

Connectivity

Because robot is not working alone. Tracking devices, Imaging devices are all connected.
