Stäubli (UK) Limited are currently looking for a Senior Sales Engineer covering parts of the East and West Midlands alongside, Leicestershire, Northampton, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire within our Fluid Connectors Division. This role will have the responsibility and accountability for the Sales and growth within the allocated geographic area.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Electrical Connectors Sales team on a permanent basis being responsible and accountable for the sales and growth of the Renewable Energy market. 

The main responsibilities for this role are:

  • Creating new accounts and achieving market leadership within EPC and Asset Owners.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with key accounts to develop sales.
  • Agree and monitor the Sales Team activities alongside measuring performance against revenue targets set.
  • Work alongside Sales Engineers to identify and develop potential markets/Customers.
  • Working with the Divisional Director to set and monitor the annual Revenue and Sales budgets.
  • Ensuring that all the Sales team receive continuous best practice product and application training.
  • Maintain close contact with the Global Business Head providing updates on the UK market/forecasts.
  • Maintain an awareness and understanding of the Competitors within the market.
  • Drive specific marketing and communications.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal Candidate will have:

  • Minimum requirement of HNC in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years external Sales experience.
  • Previous experience of selling direct into the Photovoltaic market.
  • Experience of selling solutions to the End User and OEM sectors ideally from an ‘added value’ approach by identifying problems and offering either standard or specifically designed solutions.
  • Ability to undertake Account Management and develop new Customers.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
