Automation solutions for work on vehicle interiors

Our sales team

Aesthetics, design and functionality - the expectations of customers all over the world, increase with the launch of every new model at all levels of the market. Interior designers aim to satisfy these expectations with ever more graceful solutions, but their ideas inevitably demand more complex production techniques. Robots are therefore indispensable for interior applications, whether they are used for automated seat testing or high-speed polishing of gear sticks.

Success stories
Stäubli AG - Grupo-Antolin-scara-ass-door-panels-aut-pim-2x-55467-jpg-orig.jpg
Hybrid assembly of door panels (Grupo Antolin)

The door panels of the Audi Q2 are available in many different versions. In order to retain flexibility in the assembly of around 1,800 panels a day, a hybrid assembly concept was implemented in which high-speed Stäubli SCARAs and manual workers collaborate on the insertion and driving of screws.

Assembly of airbag control sensors (TRW)

Until recently, the production of airbag modules at TRW in County Durham, England, relied largely on manual labor. Today, the assembly line is fully automated and the work is done by Stäubli industrial robots.
