The MPS 2531 is a high-performance robotic tool changer designed for heavy-duty applications. With a payload of up to 2,500 kg and a maximum bending moment of 44,000 Nm, it enables precise and safe tool changes with maximum performance in automated processes. Its compact, round design provides numerous module slots, offering an exceptionally high variety of modules for media, signal, data and energy transfer.

In accordance with Performance Level d, Category 3, the MPS 2531 meets the highest safety standards, thus ensuring the safety of personnel and installations. The transfer modules are highly versatile and perfect for handling large, heavy components. Typical applications include automotive production, particularly battery assembly and parts manufacturing. Thanks to the PCD 315 pitch circle diameter, the system can be easily integrated into robots in this payload class, eliminating the need for additional adapters.

With a repeatability of ±0.01 mm, an operating pressure of 0.45 to 0.8 MPa, and temperatures from 0 to +50 °C, the MPS 2531 is the ideal solution for precise, safe, and efficient handling in heavy-duty applications. 

A wide range of accessories is also available, including mounting kits, an emergency release, a teaching aid and tool stand systems.
