We have published our Sustainability Statement 2025, marking an important milestone in strengthening ESG governance and data management across the group as Stäubli prepares for future Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements.
Beyond reporting requirements, sustainability is increasingly integrated into our business strategy. As Gerald Vogt, Group CEO, explains:
"Sustainability is a fundamental part of how we manage our business, as it directly affects our growth, long-term resilience, and the continued trust of our customers."
We are progressively aligning our reporting with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which requires standardized and auditable ESG disclosures.
The Sustainability Statement 2025 is prepared on a consolidated basis, using a standard reporting framework and consolidated data covering the entire group.
A key milestone is the completion of our first group-wide carbon footprint, based on more than two million data points. This establishes a baseline for greenhouse gas emissions across the group in order to identify the main levers for carbon reduction and our transition plan.
In 2025, we also completed our first Double Materiality Assessment. The process included 39 interviews with internal and external stakeholders and the review of 230 impacts, risks and opportunities. Based on the assessment results, five priority ESG topics were identified to guide the next strategic planning:
The group-wide carbon footprint and Double Materiality Assessment provide important input for our sustainability strategy. They help define our priorities, action plans and how we manage the sustainability strategy in the coming years.
For customers and partners, reliable ESG data is becoming increasingly important. As sustainability requirements continue to increase across global value chains, transparent reporting helps provide the information stakeholders need and reinforces our position as a trusted long-term partner.
