Stäubli Electrical Connectors has enhanced its CombiTac aluminium IP65 DIN housings sizes 2, 3 and 4 with a new space-saving locking mechanism. This allows users to place a larger number of housings side by side, a significant space saving benefit especially in testing applications with a high number of testing points.
The new housings have a modern and high quality ergonomic design, with side and top cable entry, which makes the usability and handling much more comfortable and user friendly.
Suitable for applications up to 10’000 mating cycles, combined with a full range of CombiTac modules, CombiTac Housing solutions guarantee of longer life performance and faster, more economical maintenance.
Further features include resistance to shock and vibrations (EN 61373 category 1B), IP2X protection during connection/disconnection process, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
Customers can quickly configure their CombiTac along with their housing using the one-of-a-kind award winning online CombiTac Configurator tool available on the Stäubli website. Modules can be selected from a wide range of connection types including power, high voltage, signal, monitoring contacts, data, coaxial, thermocouple, fibre optic, fluid & pneumatics, along with a full range of accessories to meet your exact need.
