UNI-THERM thermally fixes warps with elastic or high-twist yarns. After this heat treatment, these yarns can be automatically drawn-in or tied without problem as normal warp yarns. UNI-THERM is easy to use. In just a few minutes, a warp is fixed: there is no need for ironing, and difficulties for subsequent operations are avoided.

OPAL draws in a lease into those warps that need it for the drawing-in or tying process, and which were not so equipped during previous operations. For example, these warps may come from direct warping with fancy or filament yarns. The required drawing-in repeat is programmed with a touch-screen and the drawing-in operation can be started. OPAL draws in the lease without any further operator input. The system functions are monitored and controlled by a camera system.

With the WARPLINK, the laying-in and start-up of weaving of newly drawn in or stationary tied warps is considerably accelerated and simplified. Thus, the resulting time savings in machine down time at style change are up to 30 minutes, which translates into more weaving machine productivity. Instead of tying thread bundles to the tying cloth, the plastic film welded to the end of the warp threads is placed in the weaving machine.

The UNI-PORT is used to carry the completely drawn-in harness for intermediate storage as well as for reliable transport between weaving preparation and the weaving shed. UNI-PORT features standardized interfaces and is thus, in connection with the various laying-in and transport systems, assuring universal use and extraordinarily simple operation. The patented carrying hooks offer maximum transport safety and prevent the harness from shifting so that placement in the weaving machine is trouble free.
