The Stäubli 1600 and 1700 ranges of cam motions are ideally suited for weaving various plain weaves. The 1700 models can also be used to produce special heavy fabrics. Both ranges can be used on weaving machines with all weft insertion systems.

Depending on the model, cam motions can be installed in either high or low position.

The range consists of  1651, 1661, 1751, 1761 and 1781 types.
