Schönherr innovations successfully presented

DOMOTEX 2012 in Hanover, from 14^th to 17^th January 2012 

 

An outstandingly successful DOMOTEX 2012 drew to a close on Tuesday, 17 January. A total of 45,000 visitors attended the world's leading tradeshow for carpets and floor coverings to take in the latest flooring trends for the budding season. A total of 1,371 exhibitors presented their trends and product innovations.

Schönherr Textilmaschinenbau GmbH, a member of the Stäubli Group, presented new innovations in the field of carpet weaving, especially the latest development, called Magic Weft Effect. The production of this exclusive carpet becomes possible on a carpet weaving machine of the ALPHA 400 series, equipped with Multi Weft Selector and Stäubli rotary dobby type 2685, or servo dobby Unival 500T with 12 harness frames. Furthermore new high density carpets, which that can be produced on the ALPHA 400 UNIVERSAL carpet weaving machine, were catching the interest of numerous visitors. These high density carpets reach reed densities of up to 900 dents per meter.

Schönherr continues developing and improving permanently its products aiming an excellent quality, which already resulted in the very flexible carpet weaving machines of the ALPHA series. The ALPHA carpet weaving machines have been delivered world-wide producing rugs and wall-to-wall products for domestic, contract and transportation use as well as technical fabrics.
