LLI: an alternative to control Stäubli robots

Product description

LLI means Low Level Interface.  This software option was designed to enable Education and Research customers to openly control and reprogram motion algorithms or control laws of a Stäubli robot arm

LLI provides a programming interface in C language and allows:

  • to power on/off the robot arm
  • to control the arm motions by sending command set every 1,2 or 4 ms in position or torque control loop
  • to access the CS8 controller Inputs/Outputs
  • to manage the arm calibration

Installation

LLI is delivered on a CD-Rom. It features software tools and a 2-day e-mail support  from Stäubli's R&D team.  A runtime license is required for each controller that runs a LLI program.

The software tools provided with LLI, enable the creation of an emulator on PC using Microsoft® Developer Studio and an embedded real time version using Windriver's® Tornado development environment.  This software are not included with LLI nor supported by Stäubli and must be purchased separately.
