At EMO Hannover, the world’s premier trade fair for the metalworking industry, Stäubli Robotics will be showcasing its engineering expertise. At Stand H36 in Hall 6, attention will be focused on the new RX170 hsm milling robot and on automation robotic solutions for the loading and unloading of machine tools.

With its 5 axis articulated RX170 hsm robot, Stäubli is writing a new chapter in the history of high-speed-precision machining. For certain applications, this highly specialized robot is the ideal alternative to the machine tool – Stäubli has identified a whole series of operations such as milling, deburring, trimming, drilling and tapping.

The second major theme of Stäubli’s trade fair display is the automation of machine tools. Robot solutions from Stäubli are aimed at enhancing overall productivity. This starts with the reduction of idle times by means of rapid, fully automatic loading and unloading of machinery, continues with the minimization of machine downtime and culminates in the semi-autonomous operation of machine tools in unmanned shifts.

Stäubli TX series robots are ideal for continuous use inside machine tools. These compact six-axis models impress by virtue of their fully enclosed design, a special wrist mechanism and a high dexterity.
