    With the Stäubli CombiTac system, you connect and disconnect your air, cooling and electrical circuits in a single motion with no crossed connection: you save time and improve safety.

    The CombiTac programme offers you:
    • on one hand, complete pneumatic system designed by our R & D department.
    • on the other, a wide choice of module units to enable you to configure the best CombiTac solution for your application.
    • a complete range of equipment:
      • 3 types of safety quick-release couplings, from 3 to 8 mm dia. (nominal bore)
      • numerous electrical contacts, from 1 to 8 mm dia.
      • 6 housings according to the nature and quantity of equipment chosen.

1- Complete predefined solutions for pneumatic circuits

In order to satisfy your needs in terms of pneumatic multi-connections, Stäubli has predefined range of complete units for compressed air.

  • 6 housing sizes
    • There are 6 housing sizes according to the type and number of couplings on your CombiTac.
    • Straight outlet mobile housing.
  • A wide range of couplings ID: 3 to 8 mm
    CombiTac pneumatic units are fitted with:
    • either RCT sockets and plugs
      ID: 3 mm
      shut-off possibilities: full flow or single shut-off
      possibility of reversed mounting: according to your requirements, the sockets and plugs are mounted on fixed base or on mobile housing.
    • or UCT sockets and plugs
      ID: 4 - 6 - 8 mm

Stäubli create customised CombiTac solutions to satisfy your requirements even more precisely.
You have 6 housing sizes and wide range of module units to choose from according to your specifications.

MultilamsTM, MC® technology electrical circuits

  • 5 pin diameters: 1 - 1,5 - 3 - 6 - 8 mm
  • gold or silver plated contacts
  • upon request, Stäubli may also supply electrical contacts for:
    • coaxial cables
    • optical fibres
    • thermocouples.

Housings

CombiTac housings are available in 6 sizes with straight or side outlets to suit all configurations.
 

  • Options
    • according to your configuration, the base can be fitted with protective covers against shocks and external pollution.
    • a protective shield against electric shocks can be added to the mobile housing (sizes 2 to 5). Depending on the operating conditions and above certain voltages, it may be mandatory (refer to IEC/TR 61201) standard.
  • The CombiTac range is certified IP 65
    (refer to IEC 60529) in connected position and with the use of an adequate cable box (not supplied): protection against dust and water jets (from a hose).

Construction
