The plug locking is independent of the opening of the valve, and therefore free of pressure.

 

Safety Features

The hose-whip effect from the flexible hose, which is always dangerous for the operator, is totally avoided; As soon as the control sleeve is pulled back, the internal valve shuts off all input and decompresses the downstream line through a venting system.

 

Further safety features

A safety device prevents the pressurized socket from opening as long as the plug is not connected.

 

Free flow

ADS couplings use a spherical valve which offers direct air flow, under full bore conditions, hence an optimal ratio for the flow/pressure drop relation.

 

Stäubli interchangeability

All full flow RBE 11 connection plugs are connected directly to ADS 11 sockets.
