New production facility in Essen

Multi-Contact to expand photovoltaics capacity

June 2008 - To meet the demands of the booming photovoltaic market, the Stäubli Group company Multi-Contact is investing in a new production and office building in Essen / Germany.

The new facility will centralise Photovoltaics (PV) cable assembly and the development of new PV products close to the place of production. The four-storied building has a total floor area of more than 10,000 square meters. A 200 kW photovoltaic system will be installed on the rooftop. The inauguration is planned for the second half of 2008.
